Sorry for not posting my usual Sunday message. We've had a very busy and full day and now that I have time to post I'm suffering from a headache so I'm going to bed early. I've got more slippers cut out and the girls and I are sewing tomorrow after school. They're coming up with lots of other ideas too so it's going to be fun making all the gifts this Christmas. We have lots to do because the mailing deadline for Christmas is in about 3 weeks. It's going to be close.
Best wishes to you all from Greenwood, NS where it is now dark, 10pm and 9 degrees C. So quite warm. It's going to be warm all week until the weekend when we return to more seasonal temperatures.
We had a dream, like so many others before us, to live a simple and sustainable life on our own organic farm... so we drove from Vancouver Island, British Columbia to the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, and we've been here nearly 6 years. We love life, learning, and sharing with others. Follow our adventures as we build a vibrant small family farm and work towards self-sufficiency using a combination of traditional methods, permaculture and original ideas.
